Hosted Lync Windows Mobile Client Install

This article will show you how to set up an Hosted Lync account on an Windows Mobile Phone.

Please note: You'll need to have a Microsoft Account to download the client from Windows Phone Store.

Installing the Lync 2013 Client for Windows Mobile

  1. Open the Windows Phone Store. If you can't find the Store icon on your home page, swipe to the left and scroll down to the Store option. Alternatively you can visit the Store online.

     
  2. Enter 'lync' into the Store Search field and select the Lync 2013 result.

     
  3. Tap Install.

     
  4. The download will begin. This may take a few minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection.

     
  5. Once the download is complete, read the Welcome screen and then tap I Agree.

     
  6. Sign in with your Hosted Lync username (full email address) and password.
     

 

How to pin Lync 2013 to the home screen

  1. On the home screen, swipe to the left to reveal the Applications menu.
     
  2. Scroll to Lync 2013 in the list.
     
  3. Tap and hold Lync 2013.
     
  4. Select Pin to Start.
     
  5. You will be taken back to the home screen.

 

Removing the Lync 2013 Client for Windows Mobile

  1. On the home screen, swipe to the left to reveal the Applications menu.
     
  2. Find Lync 2013 in the list.
     
  3. Tap and hold Lync 2013.
     
  4. Select Uninstall.
     
  5. You will be taken back to the home screen.
