Dialup setup for Windows 8

This article will show you how to connect to your iiNet Dialup internet on a computer running Windows 8.

Please note: By default, Windows 8 computers do not come with built-in dialup modems. You may need to have one installed by a computer technician, or purchase a USB plugin dialup modem from your local computer store.

How to connect to Dialup on Windows 8

  1. Move the mouse to the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to bring up the menu bar and select Settings.

    Password: Your iiNet dialup password
    Dial: 0198333955

  5. Click Dial to finish. Your computer should now be connected to the internet. If the connection fails because the phone line is busy, try again when the Home Phone is not in use.
